Waytorievery place leaves a toriWaytori is a place-first travel and food sharing service operated from Georgia, United States. In these terms, "Waytori", "we" and "us" mean the operator of waytori.com. "You" means the person using the service.
Waytori is early software. Features change, break and disappear without notice. Content you post during this period may be lost. Do not rely on Waytori as the only copy of anything you care about.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use Waytori only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You may not use Waytori if we have previously terminated your account.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access. Choose a handle that does not impersonate another person or business.
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you give Waytori a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt for formatting purposes, and distribute your content, so that we can operate and promote the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except that copies may remain in backups for a limited period and any content others have already shared off-platform is outside our control.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post: that you took the photos and videos yourself, or otherwise have permission, and that posting them does not break anyone else's rights.
Ratings and reviews on Waytori are the personal opinions of the people who wrote them, not statements by Waytori. We do not verify them. Businesses that believe a review states a false fact, rather than an opinion, may contact us.
Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or self-harm. Do not post other people's photos as your own, private information about others, spam or advertising. Do not scrape the service, interfere with it, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours. Do not use Waytori to sell reviews or manipulate ratings.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms, and we aim to tell you why. If you believe we made a mistake, you may appeal, and a different reviewer will look at it. We are not obligated to host any particular content.
If you believe content on Waytori infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to the contact address below with: identification of the work, identification of the material and its location, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement that the notice is accurate, and your signature. If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that the removal was mistaken, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the Northern District of Georgia), and your signature. Unless the claimant tells us within about 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Waytori shows links to other sites, including Instagram profiles that people add themselves. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
You may delete your account at any time from your profile menu. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop operating the service.
Waytori is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that information posted by users is accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waytori is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will ask you to accept them again the next time you sign in. Continuing to use Waytori after an update means you accept the updated terms.
If someone brings a claim against Waytori because of content you posted or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to indemnify us — that is, to cover the losses, costs and reasonable legal fees that result. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own wrongdoing.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment. Don't send us ideas you want to keep confidential or be paid for.
Waytori is a venue. Disagreements between users, or between a user and a business that is written about, are between those parties; we are not a party to them and have no obligation to resolve them, though we may act on content that breaks these terms.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Waytori at any time, including during this beta. If we shut the service down entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give you a chance to export your content first.
If you have a dispute with us, contact us first at the address below and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead. This section does not limit rights that your local law does not allow to be limited.
These terms are the entire agreement between you and Waytori about the service. If part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we are not giving it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of the service, and we will tell you if that happens.

This policy explains what Waytori collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to waytori.com.
You give us: your email address, a password (stored only as an encrypted hash, never in readable form), your handle, and optionally an Instagram handle and profile photo. Anything you post: titles, text, photos, place names, addresses, ratings, comments.
Created as you use the service: your likes, saves, follows, and a record of your agreement to these documents including the version and time.
Collected automatically: basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, kept for security and abuse prevention. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived standard server logs of page requests.
We do not collect precise device location, and we do not ask for payment details.
To run your account and sign you in; to show your posts to other people, which is the point of the service; to rank and recommend places; to answer reports and enforce our rules; to send service emails such as confirmation and password reset; and, only if you opted in, occasional product emails.
Your handle, profile photo, Instagram handle if you add one, your posts, comments, ratings, and your follower and following lists are visible to anyone. Your email address is never shown publicly. Treat anything you post as public and permanent in the sense that others may copy it.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use service providers to operate Waytori: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage, United States) and Netlify (website hosting and content delivery, United States). They process data on our instructions. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a standard web request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads. We may disclose information if required by valid legal process, or to protect people from harm, and we will tell you unless we are legally barred from doing so.
We store a session token in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. We do not track you across other websites and we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for these signals to opt you out of — every visitor is treated the same way.
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, posts, photos, comments and ratings from the live service. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten. We keep consent records and moderation logs longer where we need them to meet legal obligations.
You can edit your profile, delete individual posts, download a copy of your data, and delete your account entirely from the profile menu. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Write to us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
If you live in California: you have the rights to know, correct and delete described above, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as California law defines those terms, so no opt-out is needed. When you make a request, we verify it by asking you to confirm from the email address on your account; you may also use an authorized agent if they can show your written permission.
Waytori is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that we have, we delete the account.
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and database access is restricted per user by row-level security rules. No service is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Waytori is operated in the United States and your information is processed there.
We will post updates here and change the date above. Significant changes will require you to accept the policy again.
